In the last decade, Bangladesh-Australia trade relation has been the most vibrant among Australia’s trade partners. There are prospects of further dynamism in bilateral trade and investment as Bangladesh maintains robust economic growth and social development.

In order to collectively discuss potential and challenges to greater bilateral economic interaction, the Bangladesh High Commission together with the Australia Bangladesh Business Council (ABBC) are going to organize the Australia-Bangladesh Trade Conference, 2019 in Sydney on 13-15 November 2019. The NSW Business Chamber, Export Promotion Bureau(EPB), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) and Australia Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ABCCI), Dhaka will be our associates.

The event is expected to be one of the most impactful trade conferences, bringing together business entities from Bangladesh and Australia with current and/or future business interest in each other. Industry bodies and associations, industry, policy analysts, government representatives, researchers, and policymakers will collectively reflect on opportunities in trade and investment in multiple sectors of mutual interest.
